Powerful design of the new Thar 2025
Mahindra has designed the new Thar inspired by the Thar Rocks. It will have a new front grille, double-stacked slats, updated bumpers and newly designed headlamps. Changes have also been made at the rear, which include a new rear bumper and stylish taillamps. Apart from this, new alloy wheels and some special exterior color options can also be given, which will make its look more premium.
There will be more luxury from inside
Talking about the interior, this time many advanced features have been included in Thar 2025. It will get a large touchscreen infotainment system, new digital driver display and electric steering wheel. Not only this, but it will also have features like 360-degree camera, ventilated seats, ambient lighting and wireless charging. For safety, it will be given Level-2 ADAS and rear disc brakes which will make it even smarter and safer.
Engine and Performance
As far as the engine is concerned, no major changes have been made in it. The company will offer it with the existing engine options. It will have three engine options –
- 2.0-litre turbo petrol (152 BHP)
- 1.5-litre turbo diesel (119 BHP)
- 2.2-litre turbo diesel (130 BHP)
Along with this, both RWD and 4WD driving options will be available in it so that the fun of off-roading can be doubled.
When will it be launched
Although the company has not yet announced the official launch date, it is expected that the new Mahindra Thar 2025 will be introduced in the Indian market by the end of September 2025. At present, it has been seen many times during testing and fans are eagerly waiting for it.
